I am in my third Pacific Northwest winter and am finding this year VERY challenging. Grey days filled with heavy cloud cover like the picture below are a daily occurance. I completely reject the idea that the groundhog saw his shadow – bring on spring! So what is the cure to these winter blues?
The locals say to get outside no matter what the weather and they are right. I feel my disposition lighten on the days when I can pull myself away from electronics and the comfort of my warm house to breath the fresh, albeit damp air. On that note, I will close this first post and get out in my yard.
